Welcome to Shivani Gadhia

Analyst

We are thrilled to announce Shivani Gadhia has joined SmartCo as an Analyst. Wishing you a warm welcome from the entire SmartCo team.

We sat down with Shivani to ask her a few questions about her career path, her new role at SmartCo and what she’s most looking forward to about joining.

Hi Shivani. What has been your career leading up to SmartCo?

Since graduating from university, I’ve spent the past four years building my experience in PMO and project management, primarily within consulting firms. During this time, I’ve worked across a wide range of complex projects, where I was responsible for the planning, execution and successful delivery. My work often involved leading cross-functional teams, managing resources and ensuring projects remained within scope, on time, and on budget.

What is your new role and key responsibilities?

As an Analyst at SmartCo, I support project delivery by preparing reports and providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making. I work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project goals are clearly defined and aligned with broader business objectives. My responsibilities include monitoring progress, managing timelines, identifying and mitigating risks, and preparing key documentation such as status reports and stakeholder presentations to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

What are you looking forward to most about being part of the team?

I’m excited to join a team that values collaboration and open communication. SmartCo’s supportive culture and commitment to delivering meaningful outcomes really resonates with me. I’m looking forward to contributing my skills and being part of a team that encourages growth and fosters a culture of support and knowledge sharing. It’s a great opportunity to work alongside passionate individuals and play a role in driving SmartCo’s continued success.

What attracted you to SmartCo?

What drew me to SmartCo was its unique position as a specialist consultancy. While I value the experience I gained from a large global organisation, I was eager for the opportunity to work more closely with clients and see the direct impact of my contributions. I’m excited by the prospect of working with a smaller focused team, where collaboration is key and innovation is encouraged. I’m looking forward to applying my experience in a more tailored, hands on way.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my free time, I enjoy staying active – whether that’s hitting the gym for cardio and weight training, playing badminton or going for long walks to unwind and stay energised. I also love hiking, reading, traveling, learning Spanish and cooking. These hobbies allow me to explore new ideas and cultures, helping me recharge and bring creativity and balance into my work life. Whether it’s trying a new recipe or exploring the outdoors, I love spending time in ways that refresh my mind and body.
